Correlators
Correlators are used to find leaks in pipelines or drinking water networks. The correlator has incredibly sensitive microphones that pick up the ”noise” coming from the leak. The sound is transmitted via a radio transmitter to the correlator, which in turn calculates the exact location of the leak based on the pipe material, diameter and length of the pipe.
